I have heard that the search at Eastern Kentucky is now focused on four candidates. The names that I’ve heard are:

Chris Briggs – Head Coach Georgetown College (KY). 184-54 in seven seasons at GC. Won 2013 NAIA National Championship.

AW Hamilton – Assistant Coach NC State. Kentucky native and former head coach at Hargrave (237-22 in 6 seasons).

Richie Riley – Head Coach Nicholls State. Former EKU assistant. 21-11 this season, his 2nd at Nicholls State.

Kelly Wells – Head Coach University of Pikeville (KY). 287-101 in 12 seasons. Won 2011 NAIA National Championship.
