HoopDirt.com can confirm that Matt Cline has been hired as an assistant coach at Eastern Michigan. Cline spent last season as the Director of Basketball Operations at East Tennessee State. He had worked the previous two seasons in an administrative role under head coach Rob Murphy at EMU. The South Alabama alum also spent time as an assistant at Northwest Florida State and as a graduate assistant at Florida State. An official announcement is expected shortly.
