Eastern Michigan’s Ramsey Suspended

Eastern Michigan Head Coach Charles Ramsey was suspended by the University for 3 days for his involvement in an altercation with a fan. The run-in occurred outside of the teams locker room after EMU’s November 22nd game at Detroit Mercy. Multiple sources have told HoopDirt that the fan in question was the roommate of Eagles senior guard Zane Gay. Associate Head Coach Derrick McDowell served as the acting Head Coach for last nights game vs. Wayne State. Coach Ramsey will return to the team on December 11th.
