Einhorn departs Dartmouth staff; Named Assistant Basketball Coach at Brandeis

Josh Einhorn has joined the Brandeis University men’s basketball staff as an assistant coach for the 2024-25 season, head coach Jean Bain announced today.

“We are thrilled to add Josh to our staff,” sad Bain. “He will bring a great amount of experience and knowledge having been an assistant at the division 3 level and at Dartmouth college the last few seasons.  The most important people in our program are our student athletes and we look forward to Josh working with them.” 

Einhorn had served as as an assistant at the Division I level since 2018. He was a graduate assistant coach under Jim Christian at Boston College from 2018 to 2020, then joined the staff at Dartmouth College for the 2020-21 season. Einhorn served as Director of Basketball Operations that season, then became as assistant coach in 2021-22. While with the Big Green, he coached three All-Ivy League selections and two Academic All-Ivy team members. Over the past two seasons, Dartmouth won its most Ivy League games in a two-year span since the 1998-2000 campaigns.

Einhorn also spent two years as an assistant coach at Division III Lycoming College in Pennsylvania, helping the Warriors to a 24-5 record and a berth in the NCAA Tournament in 2017. 

Einhorn is a 2016 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh with a degree in business administration. He served as the Panthers’ team manager under coach Jamie Dixon and was part of three NCAA tournament runs. Einhorn earned his Master’s in Sports Administration from Boston College in 2020.
