According to my sources, Stan Nance has been named as the interim head coach at Emerson College. Nance, who is currently an assistant AD at the school, has been a DI assistant Miami, Boston College, Hartford, and Northeastern. He has been out of coaching since 2003. Assistant coaches Bruce Seals (who played in the NBA and ABA) and Mike Sheffler will remain on staff in the interim. A national search is expected to begin immediately with a permanent head coach to be named after the season.
