Faucher named assistant at Bowdoin

Scott Faucher has been named assistant coach for the Bowdoin College men’s basketball team.

An assistant coach at St. Michaels (Vt.) College last year, Faucher assumes the role vacated by Brandon Linton, who accepted a position at the U.S. Military Academy earlier this month.

A native of Lebanon, N.H., Faucher is a 2013 graduate of Wheaton with a degree in economics, where he was a senior co-captain for the Lyons. Faucher co-founded the Lebanon Longhorns AAU program and a skills camp in his hometown in 2009, also coaching Longhorn U-12, U-15 and U-17 squads until mid-2010.

Faucher has additional camp experience at Saint Michael’s, Dartmouth College and Wheaton (Mass.) College, as well as serving as a coordinator of the Raider Basketball Camp in Lebanon, N.H., between 2006 and 2010. He has also served as the director of basketball at Camps Kenwood and Evergreen in Wilmot, N.H.
