The Queens University of Charlotte Men’s Basketball program is accepting applications for the position of Director of Player Development. This is a key support role within our NCAA Division I program, focusing on the holistic development of student-athletes on and off the court.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with individual skill development, game preparation, and player performance improvement
- Supporting practice planning and film breakdown
- Promoting a positive team culture focused on discipline, accountability, and growth
- Collaborating with coaches and staff to support academic, personal, and athletic development of players
- Coordinating with strength and conditioning, nutrition, and athletic training personnel
- Helping organize camps, clinics, and community service efforts
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in player development, ideally at the collegiate or professional level
- Strong background in developing post players and forwards is highly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to the mission and values of Queens University of Charlotte and NCAA compliance
