According to the Detroit News, former Detroit assistant Carlos Briggs has filed a lawsuit against the university claiming that his reporting of an affair between another former assistant coach and then-athletic director Keri Gaither led to his termination. The complaint was filed Tuesday in the Wayne County Circuit Court.
