Fisher College Basketball Staff Update

Fisher College (NAIA) Head Men’s Basketball Coach Anthony Leonelli has announced five new additions to his staff.

Sasha Aronson

Aronson joins the Falcon staff this year after spending the 2022-2023 season as an Assistant Coach and Director of Operations with the Loughborough Riders of the British Basketball League. He assisted in all facets of the program. Prior to that he served as Head Manager at Tulane University.

Coach Leo on Sasha: “It was immediately evident in the interview process the attention to detail and tenacity Coach Aronson brings to the table. He will make significant contributions to all aspects to our program!”

Kristian Dodson

Dodson joins the Falcons as an assistant for the 23-24 season. The Boston native has coaching experience at Cathedral High School as well as with Brooke Farm Charter School, and most recently with the nationally renowned BABC program.

Coach Leo on Kristian: “Coach Dodson is respected around the city and around the region as a rising young coach who can relate to and reach his players. We’re thrilled to bring him on board. He’s a very versatile coach who help us on the floor and on the recruiting trail!”

Jad Saab

Saab comes to Fisher from Lebanon where he has served as a coach on the professional, collegiate, scholastic, and national team levels. He also received his FIBA certification while coaching in Lithuania. He joins the Fisher staff in 23-24.

Coach Leo on Jad: “Coach Saab has a lengthy international resume and we’re super fortunate to add him to our group here at Fisher. Talk to the man for even two minutes and his passion for the sport and for helping young people improve will be immediately evident”

Jack Youmans

Youmans comes to Fisher from Bishop Collier High School in Naples Florida where he served last season as the Associate Head Coach. He concluded a very successful D2 playing career at Quincy University (IL) after starting his career at the University of Montevallo. In the summers he has worked with NBA skills trainer Drew Hanlen as a Player Development Intern.

Coach Leo on Jack: “Jack is a high energy young coach who will make us better. He loves being the gym with the guys and is exactly the kind of guy you need in your program.”

Erik Williams

Williams will oversee the Falcons Developmental Team this year. He has coached on the club level for ASA as well on the scholastic level for East Bridgewater and Middleboro. He played his college basketball at Bates. He also writes about recruiting for Prep Hoops.

Coach Leo on Erik: “Erik is an experienced coach who knows the game inside and out. We’re looking forward to him elevating our developmental guys as well as working with the Varsity and making an impact as a recruiter.”

Fisher College is the lone NAIA in New England and located in Boston’s Back Bay.
