Former college coaches headed to The Basketball League (TBL)

Two TBL teams have recently hired former college coaches:

The Enid Outlaws have named Mark Dannhoff as their new head coach. With nearly 30 years of experience at the college level, Danhoff has served on D1 staffs at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Georgia State, Mercer, Texas Pan-American, New Orleans, Little Rock and Tulane. He was also an assistant at Wisconsin La Crosse, Northland CC, and Arkansas Tech. The Outlaws were the 2021 TBL National Champions.

In addition to recently hiring former UAlbany coach Will Brown as their new Head Coach, the Albany Patroons have also added some other former college coaches to their staff. Former Saint Rose men’s basketball coach Brian Beaury and former Niagara assistant Mark Rybczyk have been hired as assistants. Beaury spent 1986-2018 at D2 St. Rose, where he won 643 games. Rybczyk, most recently as assistant at Niagara, had also spent three seasons as the head coach at D2 Southern Connecticut. Additionally, former Siena head women’s basketball coach Ali Jacques has joined Patroons’ broadcast announcing team.
