Former Hawaii Head Basketball Coach Gib Arnold announced in a Facebook Reels post that he will be joining Danny Sprinkle’s staff at the University of Washington as the Director of Mental Performance.
Arnold was the head coach at Hawaii from 2010-14 where he went 72-55 (.567). He also spent two seasons as the head coach at College of Southern Idaho (57–14 – .803) and worked as an assistant at USC, Pepperdine, Vanderbilt, Loyola Marymount, and Utah Valley.
The veteran coach had most recently served as a scout for the Boston Celtics from 2015-20.
