MSU Denver men’s basketball coach Michael Bahl has announced that PJ Forrest has joined the program as an assistant coach.
“We are excited to have someone with PJ’s talent and experience joining us,” Bahl said. “PJ has been a part of the RMAC both as a player and as a coach. He’s always been a part of winning and has a great eye for identifying talent. He will be a great addition to MSU Denver basketball.”
Forrest comes to the Roadrunners after serving as a graduate assistant coach at UCCS for the past three seasons.
He played collegiately at Florida College as well as at former RMAC member Eastern New Mexico, from where he graduated in 2004.
He was a vice president and coach with the Texas Tigers basketball organization from 2007 from 2018, and was also a varsity assistant coach at Antonian College Preparatory in San Antonio for two seasons, from 2008-09 to 2009-10.
