HoopDirt.com has learned from a great source that Furman head coach Bob Richey will promote Trey Meyer to assistant coach. He will replace Jay McAuley who became an assistant at Wofford back in mid-June.

Meyer joined the Furman staff in May 2017 after a five year run as an assistant at Miami (OH). He also worked with former Miami head coach John Cooper at Tennessee State.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
