Stephen Galgano has joined the Marshall men’s basketball staff as a graduate manager.
Prior to joining the Marshall family, he spent a year at Bryant University where he was a volunteer special assistant to the head coach.
Galgano spent four years as a student manager for the men’s basketball program at the University of Delaware, where he assisted in practices, film/video breakdown, equipment management, statistical analysis as well as game day operations and travel activities. He served as an intern for the Hoop Group as a recruiting coordinator in 2019 where he enlisted former and future campers and assisted with day-to-day office and event operations. Galgano also coached at several basketball camps including the University of Delaware, University of Notre Dame, Westchester County Slam Dunk, and Chris Ward Basketball.
Galgano graduated from the University of Delaware, Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics, in 2020 with a BS in Sport Management and a minor in Event Management where he earned Dean’s List recognition in all eligible semesters and was a recipient of the Myles Brand Sport Management Award for academic excellence and leadership.
He is the son of Joseph Galgano, a former head coach at Mount Vernon and Edgemont High Schools, an assistant coach at Concordia College, and a staff assistant at Iona College.
