Former University of Arizona standout and All-American Jason Gardner has been named assistant men’s basketball coach at Loyola University Chicago, first-year Rambler head coach Porter Moser announced today. A native of Indianapolis, Gardner has spent last season as an assistant coach at Cathedral High School in his hometown. Prior to his stint at Cathedral High School, Gardner enjoyed a successful professional playing career in Europe, mostly in Germany, where he starred for seven years before opting to join the coaching ranks.
