Georgia Tech men’s basketball assistant coach Darryl LaBarrie has been placed on paid administrative leave while the school reviews a recently reported alleged violation of NCAA rules, director of athletics Todd Stansbury and head coach Josh Pastner announced.
According to multiple reports, the violation occurred during an official visit by a prospect to Georgia Tech. No other details have been made public.
LaBarrie joined Josh Pastner’s staff in May 2016. The Georgia Tech alum had a previous stint with the Yellow Jackets as an assistant (2009-11), and has also worked at Georgia State, East Carolina, and Campbell.
