Gosse added to Ellsworth CC MBB staff

Noah Gosse has been added as an assistant men’s basketball coach at Ellsworth Community College.

Gosse arrives at ECC after spending the 2021-22 season in South Dakota with the Sioux Falls Skyforce, G League affiliate of the Miami Heat. Gosse was hired as the team’s equipment manager and helped out in various other roles. Day-to-day duties included locker room and court preparation, laundry, and opponent scouting preparation. Gosse also traveled with the team and live-coded every game with Hudl Sportscode. 

Gosse returned to his hometown of Green Bay, WI in April of 2020. He spent the summer of 2020 coaching AAU basketball for Team 1848 Worksome More. Gosse led his 17U team to a 21-10 record in a condensed season. Throughout the school year of 2020-21, Gosse continued to train a few of his team’s players that committed to play DIII collegiate basketball. Gosse then spent the summer of 2021 as an assistant coach for Team 1848’s 17U national team. Tournament destinations included Louisville, Kansas City, Minnesota, and Las Vegas. The team went 29-12 on the season and had two players sign to play collegiate basketball at the NCAA Division II level.

In the fall of 2019, Gosse began his career as a basketball operation intern with the Greensboro (NC) Swarm, G League affiliate of the Charlotte Hornets. Gosse’s responsibilities included assisting with scouting, player transportation, and laundry. In-game duties included note-taking for coaches or live coding using Catapult Sports Vision. 

In 2019, Gosse graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a bachelor’s degree in Sports Management. He was a member of the men’s basketball team, which went 67-40 in his four years. In 2018-19, the Falcons went 16-4 in the conference, which secured a Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference championship. Gosse was also voted teammate of the year his senior season.

Gosse has a fiancé, Arianna, and a dog, Nero.
