Oral Roberts men’s basketball head coach Kory Barnett has hired Isaac Green as assistant coach/chief of staff, it was announced Thursday morning.

“We are incredibly excited that Isaac chose to join the Golden Eagle family,” said Coach Barnett. “His energy and passion for the game shows in the way he works every single day to help everyone around him be a better version of themselves. He is one of the best young minds in all of college basketball and the way that he constantly pushes to stay at the front of whatever evolution this profession brings is going to help this program succeed at a high level!”

Isaac Green recently completed his fourth season with the Indiana University men’s basketball program, serving as the team’s Video & Player Development Analyst for the past two years following two seasons as a Graduate Manager under head coach Mike Woodson. During his time in Bloomington, Green was involved in all aspects of the program’s daily operations, including scouting, game planning, player development, and building out the team’s video infrastructure.

While on staff, Green helped guide the Hoosiers to back-to-back 19-win seasons and consecutive .500 finishes in Big Ten play. IU brought in nationally ranked recruiting and transfer classes, developed multiple All-Big Ten performers, and produced two Big Ten Freshman of the Year honorees. During his tenure, the program achieved a top-25 national ranking, earned an NCAA Tournament berth, and led the Big Ten in defensive field goal percentage and blocked shots.

Before Indiana, Green coached six seasons with the PSA Cardinals 17U team on the Nike EYBL circuit under program director Terrance “Munch” Williams, helping develop six eventual first-round NBA Draft picks. He also spent three summers working with Black Ops Basketball alongside noted skills trainer Chris Brickley, where he helped craft development programs for over 35 NBA players.

“I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of the Oral Roberts University community,” said Green. “I have the utmost faith in the vision that Coach Barnett has for this wonderful basketball program, and I will work each day to support him in bringing that vision to life.”

A New York native, Green holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from IU’s Kelley School of Business and a master’s degree in Public Management from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs.
