Grogan named head coach at JWU Denver

Johnson & Wales University’s Denver Campus has announced that Quintin Grogan has been hired to lead the Wildcat Men’s Basketball program. Grogan most recently served as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Northern Arizona University from 2009-2012.

Prior to his tenure at NAU, Grogan served as assistant at Metropolitan State University in Denver from 2008-2009. As a member of the Roadrunner’s coaching staff, he worked on individual skill development, recruiting and scouting as well as academic supervision. Metro State finished the season with a 27-4 record and went 18-1 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference action on their way to being East Division and Conference tournament champions.

Grogan earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration/marketing from California State University – Dominguez Hills and taught within the Pasadena and Los Angeles Unified School Districts. He played collegiately at Skagit Valley College and California State University – Long Beach.
