LeShawn Hammett has taken over as the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Paul Quinn College according to a recent post on social media.
Hammett had spent past nine seasons as the head coach at Penn State Wilkes-Barre, where he is the all-time program leader in wins. He also captured the 2023-24 USCAA National Championship, and was named as the 2019 USCAA National Coach Of The Year.
Prior to his time in Wilkes-Barre, Hammett spent three seasons as the head coach at NJCAA Cecil College.
Hammett will replace James Stafford, who has been the head coach at PQC since 2023.
