Back on August 19th, HoopDirt.com mentioned the four finalists for the vacant head coach position at Hartwick College (Hartwick Finalists). I have now heard that the job was offered and turned down by at least two of the candidates, and another one has pulled out of the process. Hartwick has now begun bringing other candidates to campus. I have heard from multiple sources that Stevens Tech assistant coach Waleed Farid was recently on campus to interview. Farid has been an assistant at his alma mater since 2009. After a standout career at Stevens, he played professionally overseas. More on this search as I hear it.
