Kevin Henry has joined the Henderson State Men’s Basketball staff as an coach ahead of the 2025-26 season.
Henry comes to the Reddies from Dalton State College in Georgia, where he recently completed his playing career. In two seasons with the Roadrunners, he averaged five points and three rebounds per game across two seasons, averaging just over 15 minutes per game. His career high 18 points came on the road at Point University, and he helped lead the team to an NAIA national tournament appearance, the first for Dalton State since the 2019-20 season.
Prior to his time at Dalton, Henry spent two seasons at East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Mississippi. During his tenure with the Lions, he averaged 6.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists per game, while starting in all 26 games of his sophomore season. EMCC reached the NJCAA Region 23 tournament in both years of Henry’s playing time.
A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Henry holds a bachelor’s degree from Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia.
