Henry promoted at Iowa State

Iowa State head men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg announced today the promotion of Charlie Henry to Director of Player Development.

Henry was in charge of all video editing as a graduate assistant in 2012-13, helping the Cyclones make their second-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.

A 2009 graduate of Madonna University (Mich.), Henry worked as a graduate manager at Utah (2010-11) and was a member of the Indiana Pacers staff (2011-12) prior to his arrival in Ames.

“Charlie is very talented and his video editing knowledge has been beneficial for our program,” Hoiberg said. “He will continue to do a lot of video work and we will expand his job duties as well. We are excited to be able to keep him on our staff.”
