Herrion becomes all-time wins leader at UNH

University of New Hampshire head coach Bill Herrion became the winningest coach in program history Wednesday night by leading the Wildcats to a 77-70 victory against the University of Maine.

Herrion, who is now in his 15th season at UNH, has amassed 186 wins at the school. He passed Gerry Friel who served as the Wildcats head coach from 1969-89.

Herrion has also served as the head coach at Drexel and East Carolina, and currently has 423 career victories.
