My phone has been ringing off the hook with this one…apparently Mt. St. Mary’s head coach Milan Brown has interviewed on campus today. He was an assistant to the legendary Jim Phelan at The Mount, and replaced Phelan when he retired in 2003. Brown is 95-120 in 7 seasons at Mt. St. Mary’s including an NCAA tourney appearance in 2008. With Stony Brook’s Steve Pikiell out of the picture, Brown could be the choice here. The one thing that I know for sure is that AD Dick Regan wants this search wrapped up ASAP.
