HoopDirt.com now confirm that Anthony Evans is no longer the head coach at Florida International. This was first reported by Jeff Borzello.
Evans became the head coach at FIU back in 2013. He compiled a 65-94 mark during his tenure, including a 14-18 (8-10) record this past season. Before coming to FIU, Evans spent six seasons as the head coach at Norflok State where he went 99-94 and led them to an NCAA Tournament upset over second-seeded Missouri in 2012.
More on this when it becomes official.
