Sources have confirmed to HoopDirt.com that NC State assistant coach AW Hamilton is the choice at Eastern Kentucky. He will replace Dan McHale who was fired last month.

Last season was Hamilton’s first with the Wolfpack after a long tenure at Hargrave Military Academy an as assistant coach and then the head coach (237-22 in 6 seasons). He is a Georgetown, KY native who had a stellar prep career at Scott Country High School.

HoopDirt.com has learned that the introductory press conference will take place on Monday.
