I first mentioned back on 3/19 that Wichita State assistant Steve Forbes was the "hot" name at East Tennessee State. Our sources have now confirmed that he has been offered the job, and will be introduced as the head coach at ETSU on Monday. Forbes, a former assistant to Bruce Pearl at Tennessee, compiled a 61-6 record as the head coach at Northwest Florida State before joining the Shockers staff in 2013. He has also been an assistant at Texas A&M and the head coach at Barton County CC. We’ll have more on this after it becomes official on Monday.
