HoopDirt.com can now confirm an earlier ESPN report that Delaware head coach Monte Ross has received a contract extension. Our sources are telling us that the deal will be for three or four years, and the official announcement will be made later today.

There has been much speculation about this situation for the past few weeks. Ross’ current contract was due to expire this spring. His team is coming off a 10-20 year – he is 125 and 161 in his nine years at UD.
