Angelo State University has announced that it will not renew the contracts of men’s head basketball coach Fred Rike or assistant men’s basketball coach Kenneth Mangrum.

"I appreciate everything Fred and Kenneth have done for our university and our student-athletes,” said Angelo State Athletics Director Sean Johnson. "I wish them success and the best moving forward."

An immediate nation-wide search will begin for the next Angelo State men’s basketball coach.
