According to a source close to the situation, Brevard College will name Mark Prosser as their new head basketball coach. Prosser is the son of the late Skip Prosser, and has been an assistant at Wofford College for the past three seasons. He has also worked as an assistant at Bucknell and will be replacing Mike Jones who took over as the head coach at Tusculum last month. Prosser’s father Skip was the head coach at Wake Forest and Xavier. He passed away in 2007 of a massive heart attack which he suffered in the Wake Forest basketball office.

I’ve heard that a 2:00pm press conference has been scheduled to introduce Prosser.
