Multiple reports have surfaced over the past 24-hours surrounding Cincinnati head coach Mick Cronin and his involvement at UNLV. The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported earlier that Cronin is a candidate to replace Dave Rice as the head coach of the Runnin’ Rebels. The Lobo Lair has gone a step further and reported that Cronin will be visiting UNLV on Monday and Tuesday.
Cronin is 207-129 in his ten-years as the head coach at Cincinnati (22-11 in 2015-16). He also spent three seasons as Murray State where he compiled a 69-24 record. The 44 year-old missed most of the 2014-15 season because of a non-life threatening vascular condition known as arterial dissection.
