According to multiple sources, Montana assistant Bill Evans will be named as the head coach at Idaho State on Thursday. Evans appears to have beaten out other finalists Louis Wilson (head coach Adams State) and Chris Jones (assistant Utah State). Evans was the head coach at Southern Utah for 15 seasons (1992-2007) and has spent the last four at Montana. He was a graduate assistant at Idaho State in 1984-85. More on this as it becomes official.
