Multiple sources have said that Louisville assistant Kareem Richardson is the choice to replace Matt Brown at UMKC. I have heard that the official announcement will come on Monday. Richardson is expected to remain with the Cardinals through the NCAA tournament.

This is Richardson’s first season at Louisville. He has previously served as an assistant at UMKC. Richardson has also worked at Xavier, Drake, Evansville, Indiana State, Wright State and Indianapolis.
