Multiple sources have told me that former Texas Tech Head Coach will take over at Houston. The announcement may come as early as tomorrow. Dickey was the Head Coach at Texas Tech from 1991-2001 and then worked at Oklahoma State from 2002-2008. He worked for legendary head coach Eddie Sutton at both OSU and Kentucky.

This appears to be another job that Billy Gillispie has missed out on. Many thought that he’d be the choice here due to his relationship with UH AD Mack Rhoades.
