Hueber named Video Coordinator at La Salle

La Salle Head Men’s Basketball Coach Fran Dunphy announced the addition of Mark Hueber to the staff on Friday afternoon, assuming the role of video coordinator.

“I am really excited to rejoin Coach Dunphy and become an Explorer!” said Hueber. “I grew up in the Philadelphia area and revere the history and pride that La Salle basketball has.”

Prior to joining the Explorer men’s basketball staff, Hueber spent last season at College Hill as an assistant coach on the basketball staff at Lafayette. Exclusively working with post players, Hueber helped Neal Quinn post Second Team All-Patriot League Honors, the junior forward tallying 14.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Hueber spent his lone season with the Leopards under the long tenured Fran O’Hanlon.

Hueber returns to work under Dunphy after getting his start at Temple, where he served as a graduate assistant for two years under the new Explorer head coach. After earning his masters’ degree, Hueber stayed on with the Owls, spending the next three seasons as the video coordinator for the Cherry and White. During his time on the Owl bench, Hueber was a part of the 2018-19 Temple team that earned an 11th seed in the NCAA Tournament after a 23-10 record, falling in the First Four matchup to Belmont.

“Coach Dunphy is one of my biggest mentors and I know we have great things ahead for La Salle,” continued Hueber. “I look forward to working every day to bring back the great days of Explorer basketball!”

A local native to Philadelphia, Hueber holds a degree in History with his master’s degree in Educational Leadership.
