I can confirm that Byron Rimm II will be named as the new Associate Head Basketball Coach at IUPUI. He will replace Matt Crenshaw who became an assistant at Ball State a few weeks ago.

Rimm, who was the head coach at Prairie View A&M from 2006-16 (115-192), had recently joined the basketball staff at Alabama State. He spent last season as an assistant at UC Riverside, and was the DBO at Texas A&M Corpus Christi for one season before that. He also worked as the head coach at Jarvis Christian from 2003-05.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
