Jenkins named Head Basketball Coach at NJCAA D1 Frank Phillips College

Hunter Jenkins has been named as the new head men’s basketball coach at Frank Phillips College.

Jenkins was previously at Clarendon College where he had back to back 20 win seasons and Regionals appearances. Last season alone he led Clarednon to 7 wins against ranked opponents. Jenkins has proven to be a great recruiter as well with 21 Division 1 transfers as well as outstanding freshmen that have won multiple awards in conference. His recruiting classes continue to excel at the Division 1 level.

Jenkins has proven to win with limited resources at Clarendon and now will help FPC lead the program into a new era. AD Gerald Ewing says “Hunter Jenkins has a long history of winning at each program he has been apart of and I am confident he can lead the FPC program into a winning tradition”

Hunter Jenkins will also assume the role of assistant athletic director. He was an integral piece in helping Clarendon make massive updates to the the athletic department and is looking to bring that expertise to Borger.
