A former student-manager and assistant video coordinator at Creighton, Kevin Jewell joined the Wisconsin men’s basketball staff and will serve as a graduate assistant for the 2019 and 2020 seasons. Jewell is enrolled in the educational leadership and policy analysis masters program and will assist UW’s director of basketball operations with scheduling and administrative duties.
During his tenure at Creighton, Jewell spent three seasons as a student manager for the men’s basketball team before assuming the role of assistant video coordinator for the 2017-18 season. Jewell supervised an undergraduate staff of over 15 student managers and assisted the coaching staff with video needs and scouting reports. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Jewell also worked Boys Basketball Camps at Wisconsin as well as Notre Dame, Purdue, Oklahoma, Missouri, South Dakota State, Oregon and Creighton.
A three-sport athlete at Mount Michael Benedictine High School, Jewell earned his bachelors degree from Creighton in Economics and Finance in 2018.
