Description:

Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences department of Athletics and Recreation is seeking qualified candidates for the position of part-time Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach.

Responsibilities include assisting the Head Coach in all operations of the Men’s Basketball program, including, but not limited to:

• Assist in Planning and conducting team practices during the season
• Attend all athletic contests during the season
• Work with student-athletes to promote and encourage success in their academic commitments
• Adhere to all Hudson Valley Athletic Conference and United States Collegiate Athletic Association guidelines
• Attend required meetings/functions as determined by Head coach and Director of Athletics and Recreation
• Assist in Developing an off-season training program with guidance from the Head Coach and Head Athletic Trainer
• Evening and weekend work is required
• Work in compliance with the Head Coach, Head Athletic Trainer and Team Physician in regards to student athletes care.
