Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL a NCAA Division III institution and a member of the St.Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference seeks a dynamic and passionate individual for the position of Assistant Coach in Men’s Basketball. This is a part-time volunteer position that will assist the head coach in the day to day operations of the team and will adhere to all policies and procedures of Blackburn College, the Athletic Department and all rules/regulations of the NCAA and SLIAC. Operations of the program include the recruitment and retention of student athletes, coaching in practices and games, travel arrangements,  academic assistance/supervision, and overall development of student athletes. Additional responsibilities assigned by the head coach.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, prior intercollegiate playing and coaching experience preferred. Experience with strength and conditioning program, recruiting software, and film break down software preferred. Motor vehicle and criminal background record checks are required of all applicants.
