Covenant College Prep is seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Coach to join our basketball coaching staff for the 2026–2027 school year. The Assistant Coach will work closely with the Head Coach in all aspects of our basketball program.

This position is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with on-court coaching, player development, recruiting, and the overall success of the program.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Head Coach in daily practice planning and preparation.
• Coach and develop student-athletes on and off the court.
• Assist with scouting and game preparation.
• Recruit and evaluate prospective student-athletes.
• Monitor player academic progress and behavior.
• Assist with team travel, camps, and community events.
• Promote the mission, values, and culture of Covenant College Prep.
• Other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Previous coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and player development.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, and staff.
• A commitment to academic excellence and character development.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
