Lee Academy is seeking a motivated and responsible Assistant Basketball Coach & Dorm Supervisor to join our nationally recognized boys’ basketball program. This full-time residential position offers the opportunity to be part of a competitive prep basketball environment while supporting student-athletes in their personal and academic development. 

�� Basketball Responsibilities 

• Assist the Head Coach with all aspects of the boys’ national basketball program ● Help lead practices, workouts, and game-day preparation 
• Develop players through skill-building and positional training 
• Provide video analysis, assist with game planning, and prepare scouting reports ● Support recruiting efforts by helping with outreach, visits, and player communication ● Organize and oversee team equipment and travel logistics 
• Lead conditioning sessions and monitor fitness development 
• Communicate effectively with players and families 
• Promote academic success, sportsmanship, and leadership

️ Dorm Responsibilities 

• Live in and help supervise a boys’ dormitory 
• Enforce dorm rules and maintain a safe and supportive living environment ● Serve as a role model, mentor, and first line of support for student-athletes ● Report student concerns and assist in daily check-ins and routines ● Provide guidance and foster positive relationships in the dorm 

✅ Requirements 

• Valid driver’s license 
• Must pass a background check 
• Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills ● Available for evening and weekend responsibilities 

⭐ Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in coaching basketball at the high school, AAU, or college level ● Experience working in residential life or dorm supervision ● A teaching degree is a plus – possible opportunity for a role in the school
