Francis Marion University, an NCAA Division II institution, invites applications for the position of Part-Time Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• On court coaching, teaching and scouting
• Assisting Head Coach in monitoring student-athletes for academic requirements, retention, and progress toward graduation
• Maintaining all web-based compliance assistance software data
• Organizing and overseeing the game management duties
• Assisting with the recruitment of student-athletes
• Assisting the Head Men’s Basketball Coach in meeting with various community organizations to promote interest in the athletic program at FMU
• Assisting with all Fundraising activities

A bachelor’s degree is required. Previous coaching experience is required, along with ability to communicate and teach skilled athletes in basketball. Candidates must have a working knowledge of NCAA Division II rules and regulations.
