Assistant Basketball Coach (50%)

• Serve as assistant basketball coach with specific coaching responsibilities assigned by the head coach;
• Attend practices, competitions, meeting, planning sessions, and other essential basketball-related activities;
• Assist the head coach in administration and management of the basketball program as assigned; \
• Actively participate in the recruitment of student-athletes;
• Demonstrate professionalism and engagement in professional development activities, including but not limited to, knowledge acquisition, staying current with teaching techniques, strategies, and trends, attending professional meetings, and serving in leadership positions in professional organizations;
• Adhere to the rules, policies, and regulations established by Luther College, the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC), and the NCAA;
• Demonstrate a willingness to support the mission, philosophy, and goals of Luther College, NCAA III, and IIAC;
• Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Staff Instructor in HPE (28%)

• Teach activity courses in the Health, Physical Education, and Athletic Training Department as assigned
• Demonstrate ongoing professional growth and effectiveness as a teacher
• Exhibit the ability to inspire and mentor students
• Demonstrated concern for one’s discipline in liberal education Administration

Other Duties as Assigned by the Athletic Director (22%)
