Description:

Assist the Head coach in the organization and management of all phases of the Marymount men’s basketball program.

DUTES:

  1.  Commitment to and responsibility for adhering to all rules and regulations of the Department, the University, the Capital Athletic Conference and the NCAA.
  2. Assist the Head Coach with planning and coordinating practices and tactics. Attend all practices.
  3. Assist with in-season training and conditioning of student-athletes.
  4. Assist the Head Coach in the total recruiting process including; discovery, evaluation, travel, correspondence, personal contacts and campus visits.
  5. Assist the Head Coach in developing the schedule, travel, expectations, fund raising and community service program as it relates to the basketball program.  Attend all contests.
  6. Work compatibly and cooperatively with the staff and personnel of the Marymount athletics department.
  7. Become Marymount University van certified and maintain certification.
  8. Attend departmental and campus-wide meetings when necessary.
  9. Attend program and departmental awards ceremonies.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
