NYIT seeks an Assistant Men’s basketball Coach for its Division II Men’s Basketball Program in accordance with NCAA, East Conference and University Rules, Regulations and Policies. Reporting to the Head Coach, responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching, scheduling and the recruitment and selection of qualified prospective student athletes. The Assistant Coach will support the academic progress of student athletes, schedule and conduct practices, develop and implement strategies for motivating student athletes as well as monitoring the budget and community relations.

Bachelor’s Degree or higher required plus 2-3 years of related expereience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Coaching experience and related experience at a NCAA DI or D II basketball level program preferred.
