The Assistant Coach will provide administrative, recruiting, and instructional support services under the direction of the head coach. Provide administrative support to the head coach in the areas of: film exchange, film breakdown, scouting of opponents, game day travel preparations, camps, clinics, community service, and any other administrative needs of the program. Recruitment and retention of qualified student athletes under the direction of the head coach (Usage and knowledge of Front Rush is a must). Demonstrate a genuine interest in the personal, academic, and athletic development of student-athletes. Player skill development. Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Knowledge and commitment to compliance with NCAA and NEAC rules and regulations. Demonstration of effective oral and written communication skills. Previous coaching and/or collegiate playing experience preferred. Candidates are required to have a strong desire to progress their careers in collegiate basketball. Individuals must be willing to take on a full-time work hours even though it is a part-time job.
