Reporting directly to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach with the primary responsibility to support the Head Coach in administration of a competitive NCAA Division I Basketball Program that adheres to all University, American Athletic Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  provide coaching and administrative assistance to the Head Coach, planning of practice sessions and competitive coaching situations; assess and evaluate talent and recruitment of student-athletes, develop scouting reports and pre-competition of opponents; assist with alumni and fund raising, monitor the training, academic progress and eligibility status of student-athletes and oversee the discipline, conduct and image of student athletes.
