Assist head coach in program organization and day-to-day operations. Identifying the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills. Provide instruction, educational development of students, and advise students. Monitor the academic eligibility of student athletes. Perform activities that support the university, such as participating in community outreach activities, meeting with media representatives, and appearing at fundraising events. Identify, categorize, and report information on external recruitment and internal development. With specific duties including, but not limited to, scouting of potential recruits and researching opponents. Assist with organization of camps/clinics.

Required Qualifications

A minimum of two-years of basketball coaching at the collegiate or high school level (Experience as a graduate assistant can be used to satisfy this requirement).

Master’s degree required. or Bachlors with at least 18 hours towards a masters degree in Kinesiology or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Kinesiology or Related Field
Teaching License.
